  3. This is much better than betraying allies and letting all dictators operate with impunity. I don't hold out hopes that this approach will be applied more broadly / consistently, but it sets an example. At the very least, there are lines that major powers cannot cross.

  4.  @nimagol  That's weird, I don't recall the US and NATO coercing Ukraine into making a complete 180 on the most popular policy initiative of the decade, or invading Crimea when that attempt at puppeteer failed. Strange how they are actually Putin in disguise.

  6. Zelenskyy is trying to solve a trolley problem, but nuclear weapons are involved. He has no good options, but seems to think that it's WW3 either way. I suppose it makes some sense. Many thought eastern Europe was the end last time, or convinced themselves to hope. It was just the beginning then. What followed was believed to be impossible.
