  7.  @timn5008  The first one created a genocidal slaver nation in which only rich, landing owning white men had any power. Basically nothing changed in terms of human rights. As for the second, you should really look at what 'freed slaves' at the time were saying about their so called freedom...and also learn about the history of the 14th amendment. Less changed from war than you think. You're really just demonstrating the archetypal American misconception.
