  1. One of the things that irritates me is how many people try to downplay the genocide without even trying to address all the coverups, and how history has been replaced with propaganda. They act like land was given freely and deaths were just contagions accidentally spread. Make no mistake, first came mass-slaughter, then forced displacement and environmental devastation, concentration camps, and finally the systematic destruction of families and cultures. Even to this day the nightmares haven't all ended. People are starving, thirsting, and trapped without opportunity in terrible living conditions.
