@WheresWaldo05 You don't understand the development process of vaccines or how it was expedited. You just heard 'years of studies' and started regurgitating it without asking any questions. Normally the phases are sequential. Normally they don't expend every resource possible to optimize the timeline. This time they carried them out simultaneously and had extra funding. Waiting for a specific number of years instead of looking at the data would tell us nothing. The data says it was done properly. Also, the illness is called COVID-19 because it started appearing in 2019. Try counting that number of years again.

@WheresWaldo05 I take it you place some significance on appearing in 2019, but you didn't finish the thought. Also, I could replace 'vaccine' with 'COVID' for your first question. The answer for COVID is definitely worse. We knew that much even when the vaccine was first authorized for emergency use...because that's literally why it was authorized. That's the bar. And a number of years does not change any of that. You're just arbitrarily attached to the idea because it's an inflexible excuse for you to not think about the facts. And based on the science there will be no long term vaccine effect that isn't already apparent anyway.

@area51sea Vaccines do save lives, and we can do multiple things. It's not an either or situation.
