You and RootCrane either do not understand the concept of splitting hairs, or are pretending not to. Separating children is not some insignificant detail. Having them be in cages not for days but weeks or more is not a minor difference. That the conditions were literally killing children, past tense, could not possibly be described as one half of a split hair.

@afrodinho Speak for yourself. I don't expect politicians to do everything right, and I don't reduce everything to black and white. You can keep whinging if you want.

@afrodinho If you think she has never done anything right, then you don't know anything about her. Generally I recommend getting a basic level of knowledge before jumping to conclusions. Good luck. People get crumbs for a lot of reasons. One is that insipient idealists oppose incremental improvements out of stubbornness, refusing anything less than exactly what they want. It's a good way to get nothing. Better to be frustrated by inadequacy than total inaction, and better to direct that frustration at the people who are most opposed--not least opposed. Politics is filled with grey choices, and progress is incremental, even when it seems definitive (passing the 14th amendment vs the 150+ year fight to actually implement it). It's a marathon, not a 100m dash.

They weren't politicians...neither got anywhere close to the full thing they wanted (e.g King wanted to basically end capitalism)...and protesting isn't the same as deciding whether or not to support or block tangible progress bc it's not the full thing. You are reaching so hard here. Honestly I don't even have to say anything more. Good job making a fool of yourself.
