  2. I've been saying this for years. People get mad at me for it, or don't respond at all. And frankly I don't even think there's any value to jargon that can't work with a general audience except within acadamic or scholarly WORK. Though there is also an argument to be made about making research more accessible to help address the growing divide between experts and everyday people. Trust has to be built, and esoteric language is not a solid foundation.
