@geozap4518 A) You're assuming they weren't living there at the time bc of one person's reference to Jewish people living there at one point in time. People coexisted. Not everybody gets mentioned by everybody all the time. B) Picking one specific period of time and acting like it's the end all be all completely ignores the point. That land was conquered and reconquered by dozens of different factions. We could just as easily point to another time and say 'where were the Jewish people? This one historical reference doesn't mention them.' It means nothing. C) By their own admission, the Jewish people took that land from somebody else. So you can call it their "homeland" all you want. The earliest that historians can place them is north of what would become Israel and which was other things before that. They were with the rest of the Canaanites. Considering that the ancestral languages of both Palestinians and Jews are semitic it shouldn't be any surprise that they're both from the same general area of the eastern mediterranean. D) Keep clinging to this piece of straw. It's just a poorly thought out attempt at a gotcha question. You failed.

@schoolsgirl I'm not confused by the idea. It's just that responding here with that is a nonsequitur. Also, let's ease away from false equivalency. They are both right wing but there are major differences.
