  1. The only reason why the far right in Europe now supports Ukraine is because they have been saying for 3 years that they were "wrong" about Putin all those years before. It was not popular then to say that you supported Putin in the invasion, so they said they were "wrong", something I never believe though. They have gone completely overboard with Trump and MAGA and now they are having a mindfuck because they have to choose... Here in Belgium there is a far right politician (Gerolf Annemans) who said that we should not be "hysterical" about the fact that Europe and Ukraine are not involved in the negotiations. It is just an 'opening move' by Trump. At the same time he said that Trump is going too far by saying that Ukraine started the war... How should you interpret that? Forgive him for this mistake. Grandpa Donald suddenly got dementia? Also very striking is that their voters yesterday completely went along with the story that Zelensky is a dictator and that Ukraine started the war, but now that Annemans has said that Trump has gone too far, they are suddenly deafeningly silent about it. Those voters have no judgments, they do not think for themselves, they just wait for the opinion of their politicians and they adopt to that rhetoric.
