Those are 2 completely different so ciali st ideologies practiced in 2 different countries during the W W2 and both ideologies have been de ad ever since. First you should understand the fundamental basics of political alignments before you start accusing other political parties being extr eme. The fundamental differences between left-wing and right-wing ideologies center around the the rights of individuals vs. the power of the government. Left-wing beliefs are liberal in that they believe society is best served with an expanded role for the government. People on the right believe that the best outcome for society is achieved when individual rights and civil liberties are paramount and the role — and especially the power — of the government is minimized. Now when it comes to fa scis m and na zis m, they both were f ar-le ft soci ali st ideologies. Both opposed liberal capit alism, but also international soc iali sm, hence the concept of a “third way,” their centralized economic policies obeyed collectivist and so ciali st principles, openly opp osing capi tali sm and the fre e ma rket, favoring natio nalis m and autarchy.

@erikvan9582 : There is nothing complicated about fa scis m unless you want to talk about the philosophy behind it. If you want a simple version, fas cis m was a political and economic system that rejected ca pital ism, libe ralism/dem ocracy, and com muni sm, in which the means of production was organized by natio nal wor ker syndic als (i.e. trade unions), and the guiding philosophy of the state was Actual Idealism. Fa sci sm was one of the branches of so ciali sm that advocated for ext reme stati sm, colle ctivism and class collaboration.
