Fas cis m was a political and economic system that rejected ca pital ism, libe ralis m/dem ocra cy, and com muni sm, in which the means of production is organized by national worker syn di cals (i.e. tra de uni ons), and the guiding philosophy of the state is Actual Idealism. Go read some history and stop using words that you do not understand.

Fa sci sm had nothing to do with cap italis m whatsoever. Both fa sci sm and national so ciali sm opposed capi talis m. It's a common mistake from you amu rica ns to confuse corporatism with corporatocracy. Fas ci sm used the former, not the latter.

@itcouldbelupus2842 Not only does Umb erto Eco know nothing about fa scis m, his 14 vague and usel ess points can be applies to any dictatorial country such as Bra zil, Vene zuela, Cu ba, Eq ypt, US SR and even Ch ina and N orth Ko rea, making such points moot. There is only one definition for fa sc is m, given by the author of the ide ology, Giov anni Gen tile, in his book "the doc trine of fa scis m".

Soc iali sm is a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole. It does not care nor specify who should control the system. Only Ma rxi sm cares about the workers specifically controlling the means of production. Tot alita rian so ciali sm makes sense, because in order for any kind of soc ial ism to work, it needs to be enforced, which leads to soc iali zing / natio nali zing everything. I already explained why fa scis m is le ft win g, because it is a form of so ciali sm. Again, fas cis m opposed liberal ca pitali sm, but also international soc iali sm, hence the concept of a “third way,” their centralized economic policies obeyed collectivist and so ciali st principles, openly opposing cap ital ism and the free market, favoring nat ionali sm and auta rchy. Only you am uric ans think that it has something to do with rig ht wi ng, but here in Europe it has always been part of the le ft, due to so ciali sm.

@itcouldbelupus2842 : When it comes to my personal political views, I guess I represent the true f ar ri ght ... which is somewhere between lib ertaria nism, min archi sm and ana rcho-capi talis m. When it comes to political spectrum, it seems there is no common consensus if people want to use post or pre French revolution spectrum so speaking about "left" and "right" makes no sense. Would personally prefer using a spectrum where the other end has autho ritarian ism and the other end has civilian lib erties and freedom. So "total freedom" and "total control".
