@kiern1285 : Literally nothing to do with Capitalism. On the contrary, this is about socialist policies.

Except there barely are billionaires in Europe. If you go and look the top 10 countries regarding billionaires, there are only 2 EU countries listed (Germany, Italy) and UK. If you look at top 20, we can add 2 more (France, Sweden). Both USA and China have more billionaires than all the EU countries combined.
2
I wouldn't say socialism per se as European countries do not have it. Instead they have a Mixed economy system known as Social-Democracy. However the answer to the question is, the socialistic "welfare-state", which is a money sink and unsustainable concept.
2
Why? That's easy, because of the socialistic "walfare state" concept and Keynesian economics. These do not work, will never work, and will collapse a country eventually.
2
How about we abolish taxes when it comes to companies/businesses... then we can really see who was more greedy, companies or the Government.
2
what Rich people? You mean Government employees and politicians?
1
Wrong.
1
"People, left wing policies are not your enemy." Yes, they are, and also the reason why Europe in general is in this mess to begin with.
1
" We need to get back to incentivizing small and medium sized businesses, incentivizing innovation and regaining control of these massive corporations. " And that can only be done when we lower taxes, decrease the size of the Government and public sector in general etc. There are no incentives to put up a business if you are taxed to hell and better off working for an already established corporation, or for the Government itself.
1
Marx was wrong.
1
Sadly, too many people here still think that the "welfare" nanny state is their friend.
1
There are no Rich people here in Europe.... and if there are, they all are politicians or in the Government payroll. Good luck finding rich people who actually own a private business and got rich that way.
1
Nope.
1
There is barely any Capitalism left in our socialist Europe. Cope harder.
1
Has nothing to do with some "elites", and you don't even make much profits here in Europe since taxes are so high. That's why many businesses leave or sell themselves in the first place.
1
Wrong. On the contrary, socialism is why Europe is in this mess to begin with.
1
There is a difference between "don't want" and "cannot" ... the latter is reality.
1
Pretty much the opposite.
1
@niklas4813 : Maybe they are not right wing.
1
Wrong. There is no "pure capitalism" anywhere in Europe. On the contrary, Europe is more socialistic than Capitalist.
1
There is no Neoliberalism here in Europe. On the contrary, were are leaning towards socialism here... which also lead to Fascism.
1
That's not how the economy works.
1
"Wealth inequality, " Is not a bad thing and there is nothing wrong with it.
1
"which leads to poverty, " Wrong. Nothing to do with "Wealth inequality,". Plenty to do with other reasons, such as the government itself.
1
"Tax the rich." Governments already do, and you can only steal so much money from them before they leave the country. Also the irony here is, that most of the "rich" people here in Europe are on the Government payroll.
1
Nothing to do with Capitalism. On the contrary, we need more of it, and less socialistic policies.
1
The rich? You mean Government employees and politicians? For example in my country, there are at least two Government positions that pay more than being the president of the USA, one is around 350k a year and the other is around 700k. All from taxpayers pockets.
