  1. Nintendo would have been better off by developing different versions of their popular stuff like Mario on different consoles. Similarly how TMNT in Time and Hyperstone Heist played out.

  2.  @thalanoth  : Well, we will never know. However we do know that Sonic as a franchise would be dead if SEGA would have insisted that it would only exist on their failed platform.
