Liberalism as it was put forth by John Locke, is on the Far-Right actually as Liberalism advocates for free market and laissez-faire economics and civil liberties under the rule of law, with special emphasis on property rights, individual autonomy, limited government, economic freedom, political freedom and freedom of speech. Nowadays referred to as "classical" Liberalism in contrast to Center-Right Neo-Liberalism.

@UnmadeSophia : Yes, it is. The fundamental differences between Left wing and Right wing ideologies center around the rights of individuals vs. the power of the collective. Left wing beliefs are based on the notion that society is best served with an expanded role for the collective in-group (collectivism). People on the Right believe that the best outcome for society is achieved when individual rights and civil liberties are paramount (individualism) and the role — and especially the power — of the government is minimized. - The more Right you go, the more individual rights and liberties are allowed, hence resulting in an economic liberalization and eventually, Laissez-faire. - The more Left you go, the more collectivism is unleashed upon the society, hence resulting in an economic centralization and usually Socialism.

There is no "unregulated capitalism" i.e. Laissez-faire economics in any modern day country at least.

Capitalism is about individualism, there is no "collective madness" and there is no conflict between Capitalism and Democracy as they are two fundamentally different things.

Left specifically is anti-capitalist. If you like some capitalism, you are at the Center. If you like more capitalism, you are on the Right.

@Unknown-r2p2o "I think wokism is the reason why fascism is popular in the right. " There is no Fascism on the Right, as it was a socialist Far-Left ideology.

Nothing to do with Fascism whatsoever, which was a socialist, anti-capitalist ideology.
1
Nothing to do with Fascism really, which was a socialist ideology and it hasn't been a thing since the WW2 era.

@jensonee "monopolies, the evolution of capitalism." The evolution of Capitalism is Laissez-faire. Nothing to do with monopolies which are the result of Government interference.
1
American Republicans are Center-Right and Fascists were Far-Left socialists.
1
Socialism based on revolutionary National Syndicalism i.e. Fascism isn't rising anywhere though.
1
Fascists were Far-Left socialists though... and Fascism hasn't been a thing since the WW2 era.
1
Fascism was a socialist and anti-capitalist ideology.

"The Soviet Union was not actually Leftist. No democracy, economy was state capitalist, " Wrong. Soviet Union was a socialist Far-Left country and there is no such thing as "state capitalism" which is an oxymoron.
1
"workers did not own the means of production. " Which means they weren't Marxists and didn't achieve "the dictatorship of the proletariat" phase.
1
They are Center-Right.
