  1. Actually the only joke here is the American dialect. Libertarianism was and is a socialist movement, coined by a French Communist Joseph Déjacque. What Americans mistakenly call "Libertarianism" is actually (classical) Liberalism put forth by John Locke and later by Adam Smith, and Liberalism has nothing to do with the American progressive Left.
