I have yet watched the video. But what has to be argued is that if "conductional surrender" was allowed that literally meant that the Allies had to give ground to the Germans. Like giving up a large part of France, eastern countries like Poland and even parts of Russia. And lets not forget. Allow the Nazis to still remain in power. The leadership was not unaware of what was going on in Germany. I doubt anything but unconditional surrender was the right decision. A world with the Nazis around should not have been a better world.
