That is not actually the case. Just think about what it takes to build a car. Now imagine what it takes to build a car from scratch in your garage by yourself. It will take quite a while and cost a lot of money doesn't it? So clearly. Cars are not possible to be built and they will cause a fortune no one but the richest people can buy. Unless. Unless having dedicated factories, with optimized production lines, with several people working together and through mass production make cars so cheap you by yourself can never compete with them when it comes to price. No. Your chicken might be subsidized, but it can also be cheap because there are systems created to mass produce chicken meat so it can be sold cheaply. So cheap a simple homesteader can not compete as they do not have the infrastructure or the critical mass to make it cheap.

It actually isn't. The world is not actually ran completely on supply and demand. A restaurant will not operate based on supply and demand simply because the first time the costumer will see the price is when they are at the table (most of the time). If the restaurant is going to change prices based on S&D, it will not be able to stay in business. You also have contracts, unions, agreements and so on. A worker with a fixed wage is not going to agree to have his wage changed based on S&D. Supply and Demand is a basic view on economics, but it isn't everything in economics.

It is because their fefe's gets hurt when you actually start talking about economics. All of the sudden they realize what they actually believe in is what they claim to hate and the cognitive dissonance kicks in.

@johnm7267 I have not made a single insult to you. And I do know where it comes from. Everyone does. It is as famous as turning the other cheek. That you have to play victim just prove I am right about you. I can give you a well crafted response, but all you will do is to trample it and ignore it because you will not listen. You are not open minded to hear anything you don't already agree with. So giving you pearls is a waste of time.
