  2. Elements of Tracy's story are very like those of other trans widows I've seen interviewed - and it's not as if I spend a lot of time seeking out this particular topic. The most disturbing aspect for me is that there are people who are allowed to present themselves as therapists when they are really activists whose intention is to gaslight the wife into accepting all of her husband's demands. I hate to think what harm these charlatans are doing to women with less character and intelligence than Tracy.

  11. You'll possibly be pleased to know that a Harry Potter TV series is in the works. I think the Fantastic Beasts movies have stalled because they haven't been as successful as the Harry Potter ones. JK Rowling is too rich, too famous and too popular to be cancelled, but that doesn't mean that she isn't subjected to disgusting online abuse and defamatory remarks from people who should know better.

  16. There was an article in the Sydney Morning Herald this week and a segment on Channel 10's The Project. All the articles I have seen on Australian media this week have been reasonably balanced as far as not taking sides goes, but they don't report even a tiny fraction of what Sall Grover has been subjected to. One good thing is that they are all publishing pictures of Roxanne Tickle, so at least the public can work out for themselves that this is a man demanding access to a women only space.

  19. I think you're right. The Federal Court magistrate hearing the case, Justice Robert Bromwich, has said, "I will be interpreting and applying the law as it exists. It's no part of my function to determine what the law should be." Assuming that he is referring to Australia's flawed Sex Discrimination Act (thank you, Julia Gillard) it seems likely that Giggle will lose. I hope I'm wrong.

It baffles me that the magical thinkers are allowed to get away with hyperbole and outright lies by declaring 'no debate', while those defending factual reality have to have Ms Joyce's level of intellect just to be allowed to state the obvious.

  23. He was married to a Japanese woman, who might have been abusive, as he claims she was, or might just have been understandably annoyed that the man she married was now claiming to be a woman. I've seen interviews with the ex-wives of AGP men and a common comment is that their husbands characterise as 'abuse' anything other than total capitulation to their desires.

  33. Great to see Kellie-Jay Keen interviewed. It infuriates me that mainstream media, when they mention her at all, refer to her as 'an anti-trans campaigner'. They don't dare interview her because they know that their audiences would find her to be perfectly reasonable, even if they don't agree with everything she says. I agree with Andrew's definition of feminism rather than hers, possibly because I have never had anything to do with feminist activism. I say I'm a feminist because I believe that I should have the same right as men to earn a living, own property, drive a car, go out unchaperoned etc etc. When you start talking about 2nd wave this or postmodern that I just think it's academics looking for a payday.

Language does indeed evolve over time, but the aim of the gender cult is to overturn the meaning of words until they cease to be useful tools of communication. Your phrase 'aggressively marginalized' is a good example. Gender ideology has been successfully imposed on the health system, the education system, politics and the media. This is not what happens to those who are 'pushed out of the way so that people can pretend they don't exist', so 'aggressively marginalized' in Genderese translates to 'obsequiously indulged' in plain English.

The style of criticism is very telling too, 'You're taking up too much of MY space. Your unhealthy decisions are negatively impacting MY access to health care and eating up too much of MY taxes. Your appearance is offensive to MY eyes.'
