I agree with you that men and boys need their own spaces, but the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) has changed its name and policies to admit girls and gay youth to boost flagging numbers since it was bankrupted by lawsuits related to abuse perpetrated on young boys by many of those 'virtuous' men you speak of. It is not a case of girls forcing their way into a previously male bastion - it is a case of the male leadership of the organisation deciding that inviting girls, and gay youth, to join would help their organisation to survive.

The male leadership of Boy Scouts of America decided to invite girls to join in order to boost falling numbers following the organisation going into bankruptcy as a result of legal action brought against it by boys who had suffered - shall we say unkind attention? - from some of those virtuous elder men you speak of.

  17.  @jsemplefelton5348  Most female mammals re-absorb the uterine lining instead of shedding it. Humans, apes and a few other mammals menstruate. I don't know whether Orcas do, but it would probably not be a good thing from an evolutionary point of view - shedding bloody material in the sea would attract sharks.
