Boggles the mind that people are allowed to falsify official documents.

The Olympics has always been, or pretended to be, a competition for amateurs - ie athletes who compete for the love of the sport, not for money. In reality the athletes who win in the most popular sports can expect to get lucrative sponsorship deals and big pay packages when they turn professional. Good question re where do all the funds go. A lot of officials with their snouts planted firmly in the trough, I suspect.

Of course the Algerian crowd was on his side - it's the only gold medal their country is going to get - I don't say 'win' for obvious reasons.

A man with deformed or undeveloped male genitalia is not a woman.

Dickens was a reporter before he was a novelist, and wrote non fiction pieces describing various aspects of contemporary life, as well as travel essays. Anyone who claims to be a journalist could learn from his writing.

The Olympics isn't an 'every child wins a prize' event. It is supposed to be a showcase of the best athletes in the world - the best men and the best women. Trans identifying men, and men with DSDs, who only win at high level sports when they are allowed to compete against women are not the best athletes. If they competed in the correct category - male - they would join the other 99% of men who are not good enough to be Olympians. There is no reason to make special categories for them.

He was most likely born male with a DSD. Women boxers should not be penalised because Algeria has a crap or non-existent medical system.

@weirdmonkeyfish Deformed or undeveloped male genitalia are NOT female body parts. I don't know how you know what body parts Khelif has, but it doesn't matter. It is most likely that he was found to have XY chromosomes when tested on behalf of the IBA. He did not appeal against the findings. Unless he proves otherwise, it is safe to assume that he is male.
