  5. In Australia the Liberal Party is the conservative party. Labor is the left leaning party. The Australian Sex Discrimination Act was changed in 2015, under a Labor government, to allow this nonsense. I don't know which way Sall Grover leans politically, but Katherine Deves would certainly not have voted for this.

I agree that men should not be allowed into women's changing rooms, but if you are suggesting that in Australia there are women who are so controlled by their husbands/families/religious leaders that they cannot decide for themselves whether or not to work or go for a swim, then that is a much larger problem.

  12. I doubt that she personally tinkered with the Australian Sex Discrimination Act. She wasn't particularly pro LGBwhatever - she voted against same sex marriage. The changes were made on her watch though, so she should take responsibility.

For that matter, if you had a young son would you be happy to see some random woman follow him into the changing room?

Unfortunately the only politicians pushing the gender critical line are the likes of Pauline Hanson and (god help us) Mark Latham, and the only mainstream media asking the right questions is the Murdoch media, which enables the rest of the media to characterise the issues as the province of bigots and this, that or the other-phobes. The left leaning media jump on anything Dutton says or does that can be labelled 'Trumpian'. Even if the LNP can be elected with him at its head he isn't going to touch this.
