  2. That was an excellent conversation about an interesting range of subjects. Being an Australian I didn't take much notice of Brexit, apart from thinking that it would be a shame to give up the ability to easily travel between the UK and Europe. Tom Slater's comments about the attitude of Remainers towards those who voted for Brexit makes them sound very much like the pro-Voice academics and activists in our recent Referendum who, when faced with a truly democratic result, attributed all sorts or wrong think to those who did not vote their way rather than accepting that they had failed to make a persuasive case for changing the Constitution.
