  5. At what cost to the long term russian economy ? creative accounting , lies and stealing from every other currency reserve russia has is the only thing keeping the ruble from collapse right now and it won't last . Moscow and St Petersberg won't feel it but the rest of russia will .

  6.  @SirBedevereTheWise  The ruble hasn't improved in real terms . That's the point . It's being artificially hyped and the russians are giving it a value it doesn't have . The sanctions are doing exactly what they're designed to do , reduce the money flowing to russia as much as possible and make their manufacturing industry struggle now and in the long term . Any decent leader wouldn't want this for his country but putin will see the russian people suffer as long as he's in power just like the Czar did and the russian people will blame the west untill they realise it's their own fault .
