That's what Magna Carta established, the people are sovereign and the monarch's role is to husband the nation's interests by giving ascent to Acts of his parliament as selected by his people. Rhe parliament is an instrument for advising the monarch. The monarch being our representative.

  4. I am barred from free truck driving lessons from a local iron ore mine because for some reason women only qualify for free lessons "to overcome the barriers to them becomung truck drivers". This is the function of our local equality act, to hobble me because I'm a man. Sexist?
