  1. Isn't David Starky more Tory than Conservative? I think we all need a refresher on the underlying articles of faith of the spectrum of views. David Starky's conservatism is not what the Americans call conservatism.

  2. It's Berlin 1932 again, wheel on the National Socialists. They'll save us from those pesky Marxists. This is the big open wound in the classical liberal model. It can't be a contest between Marxists and Fascists, neither of those two beliefs consider the liberal outlook is valid. Liberalism is a debate along a spectrum ranging from market interventionists to free marketeers. The public have been introduced to it as a battle between two versions of totalitarianism.
