After getting a keloid infection, my doctor over-prescribed antibiotics for me. One day I was ITCHING ALL over my body in waves, almost to tears! The bugs died, but so were the fauna and flora in my gut. I started having gut issues, amongst which bloating was the most prevalent. Today, I think I've regrown a decent colony of gut bacteria!

@user-Aaron- he gave me too many, and they were even different types, I succumbed to one I was unknowingly allergic to -->> sulfur-based. The greater part of the 'infection' was INSIDE the keloid, away from the body. So I was taking antibiotics for something that was not 'within' the body! That's how I can define it!

You forgot to mention that under-taking your medication, as in not completing the prescribed dosage, leaves the surviving bacteria to multiply into antibiotic-resistant strain. This is a nightmare!
