  2.  @Erix442  that's true about certain things, like race, political views, etc. it could backfire with employment. but unless you call for some radical stuff, like a revolt or other some such, one does not need to be worried about the government coming after you

  5.  @ТигрТигр-я2я  I lived there when a child in the 60 and 70s. it was like that then too. A girl in my class said some negative thing about Brezhnev to our teacher. The next day she disappeared without a trace.

  6.  @ТигрТигр-я2я  Im not sure, from what I read, one can be jailed for a blank sheet of paper or for saying that war is bad. In either case Orwellian dystopia in its full fledged bloody plume.
