Prior to being colonized by the British, there has never been an "Indian" state Throughout its history, the Indian subcontinent had always consisted of various competing kingdoms who spoke their own language and had their own history The British came, defeated each one of them, and decided that it's easier to just lump them all together under one administration It's the reason why outside of ultra nationalists, most "Indians" have very little love for their fake country, and try to get out as soon as they can It's a clusterduck over there.
