There's a reason why parents still pressure their children into marrying It's not because they are traditional minded or anything like that Most of the parents of the current 20 somethings grew up in the 80s themselves, not some kind of bygone era like the 30s or 40s. They too would have went through the phase of wanting personal freedom, wanting to chase their dreams, wanting to see the world, wanting to wait for the right one, etc But because they are all in their 40s and 50s now, they can fully appreciate how important it is to have your own family, and therefore want the same for their children

@xiebunlian If you think that the "benefit" of having a family is so that they can financially support the elderly, then I can safely say having a family is not for you
