Many young women these days are extremely reluctant to opt for domestic life, given the opportunity to live life and explore the world and pursue their own dreams Like you said, it's not a bad thing per se But people need to stop acting surprised when a population shrinks, if young women in their population aren't reproducing. I mean, do they expect babies to be magically delivered by storks?

They pursue a career, they earn their money, they buy things for themselves and travel wherever they want It's a great life, it's understandable that they don't want to give that up for domestic life But at some point, after they've seen most what they wanted to see, buy most what they have wanted to buy, travelled to most where they wanted to travel, they inevitably start feeling bored with life, because things are no longer new and exciting to them It is at that point that they start thinking about domestic life. Unfortunately, by this time, they are usually in their late 30s or 40s. Their window for having their own children is rapidly closing. Some start taking drastic measures that they wouldn't have even imagined when they were young (going on blinds introduced by their parents, start looking for partners online, dating divorcees, etc), and some just resign themselves to living alone I have many female friends who are like that It's too bad, because many of them are nice ladies. They were just too distracted living and enjoying life when they were young instead of looking for a partner, and now that they are old their window has passed them by
