@johnniemac173 "One's government is literally based on the Roman model" Wow, I didn't know that the US was ruled by a king or an emperor LMAO But ok, I guess you're talking only about the Republic era of Rome
4
@johnniemac173 Maybe they would Or maybe China would have "clapped" the Romans instead It's all speculative, so you can literally argue however you want to The stupid part is expecting everyone else to accept it as fact
3
@johnniemac173 Maybe. Or vice versa. 🤷🏻
3
@johnniemac173 China is still standing. Rome isn't
3
@johnniemac173 "The civilization that Rome created"? Oh you mean Europe and the entire west Christianity is the dominant religion in Europe and the west, and has completely shaped the history and way of life there If you didn't know, Christianity originated from the east, in western Asia So going by your specious logic, China and the east conquered Europe and the west after all If you're going to pit the entire Europe and the west against China, then it's only fair to put Asia in China's corner
3
@johnniemac173 Lol "Colony of a former Roman province" Look at you trying so hard to stretch facts to fit your narrative We gonna ignore how people in the west have been fighting wars, killing each other, claiming the divine right to rule, in the name of a religion that came from Asia? I'm here all day as well

@muskr6508 Uhm, no The Chinese weren't the ones who "just list them as Chinese dynasties" The Tang, Yuan, and Qing rulers themselves were the ones who professed their dynasty to have inherited the mandate of heaven from their predecessors

@Iker888 There was no such thing as "India" before the British
2
@Iker888 There has never been less than 4 separate kingdoms, and oftentimes many more than that, ruling over "India" throughout its history
2
@Iker888 "India is a geographical term. It is no more a united nation than the Equator" -Winston Churchill
2
@muskr6508 Educate yourself The Tang, Yuan, Qing all claimed to be successors of the Chinese concept of Mandate of Heaven The Chinese didn't foist it upon them

8:39 "Private property is banned" I'm not sure about this. Have you heard of the phenomenon called "nail houses" in China? These are basically property owners who refused to move out of their properties because they deemed the compensation offered by their government to be unsatisfactory If private property is banned, why would they need to be compensated in the first place? Why couldn't their government simply tell them to go somewhere else, without having to offer any compensation? Compensation being offered, and the property owner's choice in whether to ultimately move or not, seems to paint a very different picture of property ownership in China than what you're saying here

Btw, the political party in China is called CPC, not CCP There's no such entity as the "Chinese Communist Party" - at least not officially Officially, it is the Communist Party of China, CPC CCP is a strange exonym given to the CPC by people in the west To me, if you want to discuss something in a respectful manner, then you should use its proper name Using exonyms gives off a certain degree of condescension, and also indicates bias

@naguoning "...virtually no Chinese (Han) were here and the only people were Taiwanese Aboriginals" I'm sorry, but that's an extremely stupid argument to make Much of the Australian outback is uninhabited for example, yet not a single person would use that as an argument that the Australian outback does not belong to Australia I mean, 47% of the US is uninhabited - let's see you go and stake a claim on those lands using the basis that no Americans are living there Stupid

@johnniemac173 Says the guy who's lumping Germany and the US together as the successor state of Rome 🤷🏻
