Aka how to make the Chinese overpay for beer by branding

Nice try But most people in HK welcome the national security law There literally were people popping a bottle of champagne celebrating the law

@GURken Interesting. Thanks for sharing. I have long suspected this. High quality Chinese knockoffs these days are virtually indistinguishable from the genuine item, and even experienced watch repairmen have difficult telling them apart. The only logical explanation that I could think of is because they ARE indeed being manufactured by the same people, just for different buyers

Most countries have laws targeting things like secession, subversion, terrorism, and collusion with foreign powers But sure, when China enacts the same type of law, the western media loses its mind

@Mariana-jr4gh It's a myth that the government is all powerful in China When something happens that pisses off enough people, government officials were literally dragged out of their offices and beaten up by a mob And when the lockdown on Wuhan was lifted but neighbouring Jiangxi province refused to allow travel from Hubei, people literally gave zero sh!ts and marched their way through anyway, vandalizing police cars on the way

The anti China propaganda cannot be any more blatant

@streamingnowstreamingnow2568 Yes. Just look at how far America has come, after "taking" Nazi scientists, engineers, and technicians to the US after WW2

@GURken Do you have any links that show ETA has factories in China and Thailand and Malaysia? I tried Googling that but nothing turned up

Aircraft carriers are becoming obsolete, their primary use today is for intimidating smaller, weaker nations They are being made obsolete by unmanned vehicles, just like how aircraft carriers themselves made battleships obsolete Both sides are already developing/deploying unmanned submarines and unmanned drone carriers
