@robertandrews6915 Take it easy bro, your xenophobia is showing

@yopyop3241 LMAO So when it comes to Diaoyu island, you scream about recency of usage But when it comes to Tibet or Xinjiang, you pivot to self determination Do you know how to spell double standard?

@yopyop3241 Ah, interesting In that case, the ROC was the earliest to occupy an island (Taiping island, in the 1950s) in the south China sea Does Taiping island confer an EEZ to the ROC? If it does, then going by your claim, all islets and reefs nearby should rightfully be "owned" by the ROC should they not? In the 1970s however, Vietnam and Philippines started taking over dozens of islets and reefs in the south China sea, which again going by your claim should rightfully belong to the ROC So the next time you see someone condemning the PRC for "land grabbing" in the south China sea, would you also similarly condemn Vietnam and Philippines?

Mana Lee Teng Hui is a Japophile who identifies more as a Japanese than a Taiwaner

@madwilliejackson7523 Couldn't have put it better I was about to reply to the OP to say that the fact its own citizens don't care about its territorial integrity is the reason why the ROC (Taiwan) has no future, but in the end I decided not to bother since I'd probably just be labelled a communist shill anyway
1
@yopyop3241 I agree with your recent usage argument Now will you also say that Xinjiang, Tibet, and Inner Mongolia are rightfully part of the PRC?
1
@yopyop3241 Very well put, thank you So by that logic, you must agree that the reefs in the south China sea currently controlled and used by China are rightfully theirs, correct?

@yopyop3241 Lol, Taiping island is a "rock" according to whom? It has fresh water, there is livestock being raised on the island, and there are fruits and vegetables being grown It is, for all practical purposes, a self sufficient island capable of supporting long term human life and economic activity Any sane human being would look at it and say yup that's an island Only entities that are politically motivated would claim that it is a "rock" Good, so you admit that what China's activities in the south China sea is nothing unique, it's just doing what other countries are doing I look forward to seeing you in other YT comment sections calling out China haters when they try to single China out for condemnation regarding the south China sea

@yopyop3241 LMAO, the PCA, how predictable Do you even know what the PCA is and what it does? Or are you just blindly regurgitating stuff that turns up when you Google? For example, there is a reason why only a grand total of EIGHT countries called for the PCA's ruling on China Vs the Philippines to be respected There is a reason why even the staunchest China critics like India don't cite the PCA when condemning China over the south China sea Because the PCA is a joke that does not have any authority and everyone knows it But sure, let's pretend that the PCA is legitimate Can you explain the logic behind its ruling that Taiping island is a rock, hmm? Oh, and as I said you can start condemning China haters who are trying to single China out for hate over the south China sea, starting with the comment sections of this channel Go on. No double standard, remember?

@yopyop3241 Btw, it's funny how when I told you that your recency of usage argument must apply to Tibet and Xinjiang as well you try to pivot and say that recency of usage only applies to uninhibited places, but in your very first example way up in the OP you gave an example regarding not evicting Han Chinese people from China, despite China being an obviously inhabited place LMAO the inconsistency Do you always embarrass yourself like that? Or is it only when you're in your China hating mode? LMAO

@stephenjenkins7971 If you're talking about south China sea, China actually occupies only 7 features currently Philippines? 9 Vietnam? 21 Who's grabbing too many things?
1
@stephenjenkins7971 Can you elaborate? Because at first you said the issue with China is that it claims too many things at once But you're now saying it's not about the amount which sounds a little contradictory, or maybe I am not getting you right
1
@stephenjenkins7971 I see But aren't Vietnam and the Philippines also claiming islands claimed by others? Thitu island for example was under the ROC's control up until the 70s when the Philippines' military moved in and took it over, ignoring the ROC's protests To be clear, my stance is I do not support any unilateral land grabs in the south China sea, so I have no issue with people's criticism of the PRC's activities there The issue I have is they have somehow been singled out for condemnation, while other parties like Vietnam and the Philippines are given free passes, or even portrayed as victims
1
@yopyop3241 "Vietnam also isn't claiming that huge swathes of the south China sea..." LMAO stop before you embarrass yourself further Besides Vietnam, there are roughly 5 other claimants in the SCS, namely Brunei, Malaysia, the Philippines, the PRC, and the ROC Vietnam has competing claims with EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM Heck, every single claimant has competing claims with every single other claimant Every single one of them are trying to grab a slice of the SCS But nooo, "cHiNa bAd!!1!1one!!" LMAO
