  2.  @OverlySarcasticProductions  Lol, you must be a pretty dense person if you are oblivious to the symbolism of Winnie the Pooh vis-a-vis China It's not different from showing an image of Pocahontas when talking about Elizabeth Warren, or walls when talking about Donald Trump - doing so and then trying to feign ignorance as to the connection Pocahontas or walls have to them is just dumb For someone who I thought sounded like an intelligent person, I expected better of you If you chose to make your stand known by strategically inserting Winnie the Pooh references in your video, then at the very least have the cajones to stand by it when questioned by others Trying to feign ignorance when someone points out the obvious statement being made with the Winnie the Pooh imagery is just pathetic and a little cowardly

I'm sorry, 1:30 minutes in and I already have to pause the video to post this comment Yes, it's tempting to view China's entire history through the concept of dynastic cycles, it makes thing a lot neater and easier to understand But you have to understand, the Zhou dynasty wasn't just another Chinese dynasty You see, for much of China's early history, there is no China What there was however, was a bunch of smaller independent kingdoms The kingdom of Zhao, the kingdom of Qi, the kingdom of Yan, etc (Confucious was from the kingdom of Lu) Each of these kingdoms have their own rulers, and although they acknowledged Zhou king as a sort of "king of kings", but they were all independent (they had their own currency, for example) So trying to land that joke of China breaking apart at the begining of the video just shows a level of ignorance towards that period of Chinese history - how can China break apart when it was never one united country in the first place It was only after the Qin dynasty that a unified Chinese state existed It's the reason why the Qin dynasty is such a big deal in Chinese history, despite being so short lived
