  2. Thats just the oracle java distro, openjdk, corretto, etc are unaffected. Unsurprisingly, everyone is bailing for one of those and graalvm might make it a past tense 'problem' anyway as produces native code. If you're dumb enough to pay for oracle db, you are likely dumb enough to pay for java too.

  3. I was originally an EE major until i realized how few fabs there are and how that strangles the pay. At the time we had fairchild and national semi on the same block, yet they made sure not to compete.

  7. I haven't seen a greenfield project in 15 years that opted for oracle. Literally every project isn't being completely rewritten is exploring options to get off of oracle databases. Its the government wasting tax dollars on these guys keeping them afloat. Anyone who actually earns their money knows better.
