Sharpen your skills for the impending over-correction... and know your worth. There will be a vacuum that needs to be filled and nobody to fill it because of the misdirection.

I'll take "stuff that didn't happen for $100, alex"

I'm an absolute lover of coding/productivity tools. I'd attribute more of my success as a dev to choosing/learning the right tools vs raw talent. My point being I really WANT to like AI but so far i've been very underwhelmed. I honestly feel like my tradition IDE tools and introspection is still better. I can fully accept that maybe i'm doing it wrong so looking forward to your spelunking videos.

I'm a senior dev and have literally never had it produce working code IRL. Sure, is rocks on CS homework, but chokes on anything even slightly novel. You can claim 'skill issue' all you like, but the entire value proposition is it lowers the skill floor. So far, that claim is completely false.

UBI isn't coming, get a job.

This is literally one of the most reasonable channels i'm offered. Skill issue on your part.

Chess is laughable finite compared to the rest. I'd temper those expectations

@InternetOfBugs you know you can remove background noise... with ai

Is this satire? Trolling?

That's been my experience as well, but only when generating code. When i use it 'interactively' to write a regex, it works pretty well. It can explain regex concepts and how they apply to a particular pattern.

@InternetOfBugs For what you are doing, just do a summed mono w/compression and noise reduction. Anything else is overkill.
