I’d just crawl under the table for the winter 😂 I’m always cold even in summer, the only couple of days I didn’t use my blanket during the day in the rubbish summer we had was when it hit 30c 😂

Always put a sheet over or under it to keep it cleaner 😁 I love my electric blankets

@ lol sorry, yeah I’m a Brit 😁 some summers are good, this one wasn’t unfortunately, not much sun and lots of rain. Our plants didn’t produce much either

@ ‘rubbish’ used meaning poor or not good is a pretty common word 😁 it wouldn’t be on something posh like Downton Abbey though and historically it wasn’t used the same during that time 😁 🇬🇧🌻 have a great day, midnight Sunday here so bedtime

@ this year was really really rubbish and very low temperature even for the uk 😣

If you tear konjac instead of cutting it the surface area increases and it absorbs more flavour

I can’t stand to see it, especially people wearing a hat or cap in the house, are they expecting rain? I’m a snob

In the uk we get kinjac noodles, I tried them because I can’t have gluten, I didn’t like the texture. Pickled herrings are a very traditional uk snack, not so popular now, we have bamboo shoots too, they have them in cans in the supermarkets here not so much fresh in the town in live in but definitely available, we have a fizzy pop (soda) made with dandelion and burdock. We do have plenty shops where you can buy foods from specific areas of the world, we have an India/Pakistan area shop, lots of Eastern European ones a d the cities either side of us have shops you can buy Japanese food products from and of course Amazon

Tofu is really common too, I can’t have dairy milk and most of the others so I only use soy milk, so to me it’s just a normal flavour and we use it quite often, I’m allergic to most seafood and fish so I don’t risk eating it, my partner and children eat a lot of fish, you’d be extremely surprised how popular traditional sushi is with raw fish, my partner eats it, some of our children do and some of the children in our family, one of the 9 year olds it’s his favourite food. Anchovies are fairly common but they tend to be bigger and not eaten whole. They’re common on pizza and in recipes rather than eaten as is. You’d be surprised how common it is to eaten common Asian foods in the UK.
