  2.  @reallifeengineer  Great to hear yours is going strong as well man. If i'm being honest, I prefer the linear feel of CVTs. Comes with age I guess.

  3.  @techjdu  Indeed, this initial launch gear is the newer version. Mine (K111 CVT) does not have this. Mated to a 2.0 3ZRFE engine, it has decent oomph.

  4. Man, I live in southeast asia where it's 1 in a billion you will see an old car that is rusted on the road. Sometimes when I drop by the dealership for an oil change, I can't believe how these service advisors sleep at night recommending undercoating to unsuspecting customers, even for newly released units. I am recommended these a couple times in the past, I just ask them, do you see any rust in the car? Do you know it's a 15 year old car? Where's the rust? They stopped bothering me.
