Hi from Russia. The basic mode of operation for us - as Mr. Zeihan perfectly described - is a relentless expansion on all directions. And it works. Russia is the only state who play in the premiere league for 300 years non-stop. We are virtually indestructible because of how big we are. Name one reason we should stop doing things we really excel at.

@bpora01 Ah, okay. We believe NATO become weaker because of all that social spendings. And now Europe is pretty much done as a major player and facing multiple crises, so we don't buy the current saber rattling, its just for the show.
