  4. All these are relevant. The worst sales "pitch" anymore is the "hard sell". Striking up a conversation about anything can work. The closest to a pitch I try is asking what you're trading on... Answer questions honestly. If someone's interested, they'll get to business, so let THEM get to the business. If not, let it go. The hardest sell you could pitch won't change their mind. It helps to really know your product. People gain confidence when you actually have reason to love the thing you're selling. ;o)
