  1. potential issues with the proposal to remove arousal pathways: 1) is it possible the arousal pathways are actually also subconsciously detecting signs of fitness? 2) "men would be less likely to signal fake desire for long-term relationship" --> what if 95% of men loses all interest in reproduction period LOL (ie turns out 95% of men really have no interest in kids, they just wanted to get laid all along)
