The Ego exists because it is a derivative Effect of the experience of Self, but it's an illusion based on Amnesia. So if someone says: "I found my true Self and it's who I always was and always will be." ...that person is close minded and foolish. Right? The Self is Causality... it is Free Will... it is never defined and can never be defined or you break the logic.

However, don't forget the Amnesia component of Cause and Effect. As things flow from Self to Ego (Cause to Effect) there is a loss of information in the process. We literally "forget" how we get there. So the Ego must always be something you doubt because it's never capable of memory that isn't skewed by circumstances. -------------------- The Trivium Method actually tends to suggest the Ego is your biggest enemy. 1) Open minded on evidence. (grammar) 2) Close minded on thinking. (logic) 3) Share your results. (rhetoric) So in the Trivium Method you act with discipline to align the Ego with the evidence. If new evidence causes a "Paradigm Shift" you might have to reject large portions of past beliefs. Being able to destroy past logic and create new ones and still retain a sense of who you are is difficult. Cognitive Dissonance is when you fail to remain disciplined and allow for rationalizations to make the Ego comfortable.

  27.  @D4ngeresque  On my mother's side I'm descended from Samuel Adams (my cousins researched it) and I have an IQ that the Founding Fathers would have loved at 145. I was a computer programmer that retired at 40 (a fashion of the dot.com era) and am now 58. But even I believed the 911 narrative for at least a decade before researching deeper to realize it was fake. So even high IQ people can be slow to react if they aren't focused on the problem. What matters is that what IQ we have is focused on the problem of the globalists who are the deceivers . All we need to do is pay attention to their magic tricks (like Divide and Rule) and We The People can be free.

  29.  @ShortbusMooner  My point is that all those labels are external to your existence as the Self. The Self is your animal experience but also where you find Free Will. The Ego is a derivative thing... it's also called Vanity. When your primary focus is upon Ego (Vanity) then you are always looking outside the Self for approval. True Free Will means you say the heck with Ego... it means you care less about approval and more about whether things are True or False. A person who uses Critical Thinking as their core focus is less interested in the labels and more interested in the evidence which drives the knowledge of Truth. The person who is stuck on their Ego Vanity cannot devote the time or energy to gathering evidence to know the Truth. Vanity in effect makes you blind.
