If it took an actual missile scare to understand the danger that the US government and its evil foreign policies have put everybody in, and if you needed your own personal loved ones to be threatened to understand the evil and unacceptability of war, then you're stupid and sociopath-level selfish - and that goes for every last person who only becomes anti-evil once they are personally threatened. I find it revolting that every time someone in US politics makes an argument for restraint or avoidance of conflict that they rationalize it by citing the threat to US lives and interests, and not firstly by speaking about the injustice US actions are against other people. Are there no good people left, only selfish and self-serving ones?
