  1. Briahna is right that the morality is often overlooked in favour of the letter of the law. But that works against her argument. Homosexuality is immoral, and it should not be protected (the homosexual is, of course, a person, and should have the same protections as all other people). Transgenderism is immoral, if for no other reason than it's a lie. (A 'trans woman' is not a woman, but a man.) So transgenderism should not be protected either.
