  1. I personally don't think they hate Americans, but have the negative view just like any other EU/Western country of America waging war for it's own benefits. But with the older generation maybe the interferace with North Korea and Vietnam trying to invade China from there, finding it hard to believe the reason was "bringing peace". Vietnam? Maybe because Vietnam was at one point being occupied by China in pre-communist era.
