Mine too! They want to cut every program that doesn't help the rich. I'm disabled senior who doesn't have the ability to work long enough to earn the money to put a roof over my head let alone to earn enough for everything else. He's planning to cut not just SS n Medicare but also SNAP, Housing, Heat Assistance and any of the other safety nets that were inacted to save the poor from dying. I won't have the money to even get myself to a grocery store let alone pay for them. Multiple millions more elderly will be in the same boat, I won't be the only one begging for help. What pisses me off is that he won't cut our taxes one penny even though we are not getting any of what our taxes once paid for. What are they planning to do with all this saved money?

 @dougaranda6187 that would drop me down from $1,000 to $800 to pay for a roof over my head and food and meds and lights and heat. It's almost impossible now! 😢

@suec2117 you haven't been listening to them talk about this subject have you. The Republicans have been wanting to cut SS for years and the only reason they haven't is because the Dems have been able to stop them up till now. But now they control all three branches and obviously have some influence on the Supreme Court too. I'm afraid they will unless we the people make it impossible for them to ignore us. Unfortunately we now have a president who really doesn't care about what we want nor does he care about the fact we paid our money into the SS system just for our retirement. He also wants to privatize SS meaning giving finance companies power over how it's running. No more guaranteed amount because it will be like a 401k

@beautifuldreamer3991 yes but the Republicans want to privatize SS meaning giving finance companies power over how it's running. It will be like a 401k so you might retire in a good year or you might lose almost everything in a bad year. And more than likely no more disability benefits

My concern is what is going to happen once he's in. I've heard what he has said he plans to do. He says we are going to have to go through some rough times for a while? What is he talking about? I've already geard RFK say that SNAP has to go. Now with republicans controlling both the House and Senate he will most likely get the ability to get a yes in ending the ACA which means there will be no more protection against you being told it's a preexisting condition and being denied coverage. That would be devastating. The elderly death's will be astronomical
