  1. They pretend they have to come up with some deal when the constitution clearly says we have to pay our bills. So this fight has nothing to do with the "amount" of money going to be spent. If we don't raise the debt ceiling we will default on our loans and that's why our credit will go down the toilet. I think they make up this fake crisis so they can push for deep cuts in programs we need. This way they would have more money to waste on what they want not what the American people want. It's unconstitutional to not raise the debt ceiling
