  13.  @billageguy2168  you must proceed based on assessments. 1. Are the Ukrainians asking for the ceasefire? No 2. Do you think the current US administration who HAS asked for the ceasefire would rather the war had never started ? Biden and company know they are going to be mowed in the next election and this war does nothing to improve that. And Biden must stay in power because otherwise he and his family wear orange jumpsuits in federal prison. Getting a Nobel peace prize for negotiating an end helps that slightly. 3. I have yet to see any digital camo vehicles destroyed. But I have seen plenty of Russian tanks flying the sov banner. And even more sov highbrow vehicles that the Ukrainians do not use burned out by the side of the road. 4. I have seen the imagery of both crossing sites. Imagery analysis of it is telling. I have seen excellent video of ukrainian patrols who seem to be using the ranger handbook. The mark of western, and likely uS infantry training. 5. I have yet to see any form of adequacy in similar russian patrols. Mostly people standing around in the open waiting for the Starshini to give orders that anyone of them should have instinctively given. 6. I have also seen imagery of the captured russian bmp and gotta say they have no adult supervision. Particularly in the first days of the war. The common comment is that the BMP were simply serving as mobile flop houses. 7. Russian actions on contact as viewed in russian media is one step up from abysmal. No apparent crew drill training has been conducted. These guys ain't up to artep standards. 8. Kiev obviously was the intended target. If it was a distraction the would not have sacrificed the air assault troops for what could be accomplished by a feint. No. The Moronic Russians assessed that the Ukrainians would fold like a cheap suit when they heard armor had crossed the border. The politicians would flee like Biden assessed they would and the army would surrender enmasse. And then those javelin and nlaws you discounted in the hands of well led patrols started nibbling the Russians on the roads. Panic ensued and like the 1991 road of death they fled for home abandoning much key hardware. I have seen this before.....

  14.  @billageguy2168  Biden worried about federal jail? For his son and brother definitely. Also for all his retainers who are starting to worry about their futures. Biden will certainly be impeached since the Democrats started this impeachment war with Trump. But there is total evidence of he and his sons crimes so it is pretty formulaic. I am guessing his party will "Retire him" and pray that mollifies the public. It wont..... NATO would be disappointed to hear you state that the US runs things as the number 1. Oooooh, so the Russians are now doing "Wag the Dog" eh? Right, keep saying that to your selves. Regarding the second crossing. It happens to be going the wrong way for you to assume it was Ukrainian.. What were they doing, retreating? Regarding the 85% of the Russian Army still being in Russia. Perhaps for a man to man basis it is, but of the 140 Battalion Tactical Groups (BTG's) in the Russian Army they started with the bulk of them in the initial invasion. THe remainder were brought in as replacments. In fact a BTG from the garrison at Kaliningrad was spotted in the news as fighting in the Donbas now. And it is there tanks getting ground up now. Supposedly they are the best trained of the Russian troops, but not really showing any level of training much like the res tof the SOvs. Regarding the notion that 50K couldn't seize Kiev. Yeah, 1/3 of the Russian force. but they thought the Ukrainians would just capitulate. Reports are many of the BMPs that crossed on the first day did not have fuel, ammo, or food on board. THE SOVs DID NOT THINK THEY NEEDED IT. I think they only real purpose for the Hostimal airfield assault was in an effort to prevent the Ukrainian cabinet fleeing and organizing a resistance in the west. They wanted to bag them. But the VDV in their nice striped shirts got whacked nicely. THe S300 is not impressive, particualrly when measured against the PATRIOT, THAAD, and half dozen others fro other NATO Counties. WHile we are talking about it, it seems the 2S6 cant get anything in the form of a UAV, nor the ZSU-23/4. Definately not up to the Starstreek and other shoulder mounted systems. DO i know what they assessed? Yes, part of my old job was to determine what they were up to. Ever been to Russia, why yes, I went behind the iron Curtain in the 80's. Got to watch the SOVs up close and personal. And yes, they were moronic back then and have only slightly improved as of late. By late summer the Russians will have used up their trained maneuver units and weill be squatting and hoping the Ukrainians run out of ATGM, and hoping that the Ukrainian night infiltration patrols tonight are focused on someone else's sector. Key thing is that the Ukrainians seem to learn. But the Russians still operate as if it were 1987 in the Fulda Gap. We were going to stack them like sand bags then, the ukrainins are stacking them now. To quote Pennywise the Clown "They all float Down here...."
