  3. Perhaps the Hezzies should have adhered to the law if land warfare and not put their forces adjacent or in culturally sensitive sites. Of the Hezzies put their personnel or equipment in those locations the IDF is not prohibited from striking them according to the LoLW.

  10.  @AhmedSayed-gt5xg  Cool, well, the Saudi Royal family can house them all in Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, Dhahran, Ad Dammam, etc. They built huge spartment blocks to house the Bedouin in the 1970s that went unused except for Desert Storm. They will do admirably. Enjoy!

  19.  @tanman49  actually, the test against the ships was done by the US at Bikini Atoll. No one has sunk a US Air Carrier since WWII. The US took one of its mothballed carriers the USS America out into the Atlantic and purposely tried to sink it to learn what to improve. What they learned is it is very hard to sink a US Aircraft carrier. They had to repetitively hit it below the waterline and it took amazing amounts of damage and took two weeks to sink. I don't think the Hoots had any chance even if they could go that far out to sea.

  31.  @blackllama4602  yup, and I estimate i have had contact with over half of them. The military kept me busy in that region for much of my career. They dislike each other to a pathological level. Genuinely enjoy seeing each other get ground up by the strongman in power. The only thing they seem to agree on is a pathological hatred of the Jews who show them up.

  38. Funny, I have been to Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, Ad Dammam, Dahran, Hafir Al Batin, and a whole pile of other eminently forgettable places in the KSA. Spent FAR to much time there. Now that I am retired I ain't going back there either.

And the hug the civilians to provide lots of video worthy casualties. The Hammy leadership already said the consider the civilians to be nothing more than walking propaganda ammunition.

  44. Where are the Arabs? Well, the Jordanians dislike them after Black September 1971. The Syrians dislike them after Hama in 1982. The Kuwaities dont much lime them after their antics in the Gulf War. And nobody else trusts them because of this. Thats where the arabs are.

The side that was also seeking to set up the defense in those buildings was also responsible for evacuating the civil populous in a safe manner. Which the Hammys do not do.
