  1. Essentially it did when the Hammys broke the ceasefire. If you say "1948" then ceasefires have no meaning.

  2.  @timtebone  My reply stating that no peace is possible if Hamas only sees ceasefires as rearming periods is being censored. Imagine if WWII in Europe ended in a ceasefire after the west crossed the Rhine River. And Germany continually violated the ceasefire "because of 1918". There would not be the peace there is today in Europe.
