  1.  @tanman49  actually, the test against the ships was done by the US at Bikini Atoll. No one has sunk a US Air Carrier since WWII. The US took one of its mothballed carriers the USS America out into the Atlantic and purposely tried to sink it to learn what to improve. What they learned is it is very hard to sink a US Aircraft carrier. They had to repetitively hit it below the waterline and it took amazing amounts of damage and took two weeks to sink. I don't think the Hoots had any chance even if they could go that far out to sea.

  7.  @AffendiIthnin-m7v  where did you get that statistic? In 1991 while we were stuck in Khobar waiting to go home, the Arabs had a conversion center in the middle seeking to convert us. All they got out of it was angry female soldiers attempting to let them set Arab women free. There were no converts. Hard to convert when all you got is regression to the 7th century.

  8.  @tanman49  the battle ship test was against the Nevada and the Captured German cruiser Prinze Eugen. Pretty certain the Russians did all their tests at navaya zehmla which was artic circle area. Don't think they had ships to spare.
